Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may receive a small commission from the retailer. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be if you had gone to that retailer directly. You are never charged extra for using our link.

This is how Nest Grain funds its research and stays free to read. We would rather say so once, clearly, than hide it in small print.

Programmes we participate in

• Amazon Associates — our primary affiliate programme, and the source of most links on the site.
• Other retail and network programmes — we may occasionally participate in additional affiliate networks or direct retailer programmes where a relevant product is not available on Amazon. The same rules below apply to every one of them.

FTC disclosure

In accordance with the United States Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255), Nest Grain discloses that it has a material connection to the retailers whose products it links to, in the form of affiliate commission.

This disclosure appears on this page, in our site footer, and within articles that contain affiliate links, so that it is available before you click.

What commission does not buy

• A recommendation. No brand can pay to be recommended, ranked higher, or described more favourably.
• A position. Rankings are decided by our research, not by which retailer pays the higher rate.
• Silence. We publish critical findings, “skip this if” notes and outright warnings about products we also link to.
• Coverage. We do not accept payment in exchange for writing about a product, and we do not publish sponsored posts disguised as editorial.

Because our work is research-based rather than hands-on, we also do not request or accept free sample products in exchange for coverage. See our disclaimer for how our research is actually conducted.

Prices, availability and tracking

Prices and availability shown on this site are accurate only at the time of writing and change frequently. The retailer’s own product page is always the authoritative source at the moment of purchase.

When you click an affiliate link, the retailer may set a cookie to attribute the referral. Our cookie policy explains this, and our privacy policy covers the data involved.
